Dayay Privacy Policy
Last updated
Dayay helps you manage birthdays and celebration records. You choose when to import birthdays from contacts, and you can also enter birthdays manually.
Birthday information and records
Names, birthdays, notes, and celebration records that you enter or choose to import from contacts are used to provide the app’s features. You can edit or remove birthday information in the app.
Contacts access
When you choose to import birthdays from contacts, iOS asks for permission to access contacts. This access is used for the birthday import feature. You can use the app without granting access by entering birthdays yourself. You can change this permission at any time in device settings.
Reminders and messages
If you set birthday reminders, the app uses your device’s notification features. You review and edit a suggested celebration message, then send it yourself using the device’s messaging features.
Storage and retention
Birthday information and app settings are kept for as long as needed to provide the app. Removing the app also removes the information stored by it from the device.
