Getting started

Choose solo play to begin on your own, or multiplayer to play with other people or 찾GPT. In a two-player game, you can choose 찾GPT as your game partner. Choose a category and board size before the round begins.

How do I unlock categories?

Unlock missions progress in order. Complete the current mission to open its category, or use the required unlock key for the currently available locked category. After a category is unlocked, the next mission becomes available. When you create a multiplayer room, you can choose categories you have already unlocked in solo play.

How do I get unlock keys?

Unlock keys are used to open locked categories. You can choose to watch a rewarded ad to receive a key, then use the key for the current unlock that is available to you.

Solo play

Solo play works without an internet connection. Find a word by connecting its Korean characters on the board. It supports 5×5, 7×7, and 10×10 boards, and your result appears when the round ends.

Multiplayer

Multiplayer uses an internet connection when you play online with other people. Two to four players use the same board. Create a room, share its invitation, and see the results and ranking after the round.

Playing with 찾GPT

Choose two players in multiplayer, then select 찾GPT. It is a game partner you can play with right away, without waiting for another person to join.

It uses recent play speeds saved on your device to gradually adjust the game pace to yours. During a game, the intervals can also change depending on whether you or 찾GPT is ahead.

Does 찾GPT use ChatGPT or online AI?

No. 찾GPT does not use the OpenAI API or an external generative AI service. Word choices and play speed are determined by K-WordFound’s game rules and play-tempo information stored on your device.

Joining a game

Join with the eight-character invite code, an invitation link or displayed QR code, or Nearby discovery. The QR is an invitation link; the app does not use an in-app camera scanner.

Nearby play

Use Nearby play when the other players are close. Enable it and allow Bluetooth when prompted. If permission is denied, Nearby discovery is unavailable, but you can still join online with a code or link.

Play again

After a round, players can remain in the same room for another game without creating a new invite code. The host can change the category or board size between rounds.

Connection issues

Check that each device has an internet connection and is using a compatible app version. Try the room invitation again if a connection ended. For Nearby discovery, confirm Bluetooth and its permission are enabled. If the problem continues, contact the unified support shown below.

Can I back up my game progress?

Turn on backup in Settings to back up your profile and unlocked categories. On iPhone, it uses iCloud. On Android, it uses Google Play. If you reinstall the app and there is existing progress, you can restore it.

Starting over does not delete the existing backup right away. You can turn backup back on later in Settings to view and restore the existing records again.

Privacy and permissions

No account is required. Your nickname and game history are stored on your device by default, and when you use backup, your profile and unlocked categories can be backed up through the device’s cloud service. In online rooms, your nickname is shared as a display name. Bluetooth is used only for Nearby play. The app includes advertising. See the full policy for details.

Getting started

Select Start Game from the home screen. Each round contains 20 questions drawn from flags for 195 countries.

Choosing an answer

Look at the flag and the two country choices, then swipe toward the answer you want. The app shows feedback after your choice and advances through the round.

Results and statistics

At the end of a round, the result shows accuracy, correct and incorrect answers, and your best streak. Statistics include completed games, average accuracy, recent activity, and performance by flag.

Sound, voice, haptics, and language

Open Settings to turn sound effects, spoken feedback, and haptics on or off. You can also change the app language between English, 한국어, and Español.

If a round does not work as expected

Close and reopen the app, then try another round. If the problem continues, include your device model, iOS version, what you expected, what happened, and the steps that led to the issue when you send feedback.

Use Send Feedback in Settings for a bug report or suggestion. You may optionally include an email address and an image or screenshot. If the problem continues, contact the unified support shown below.

Privacy and advertising

No account is required. Game history and preferences are stored on your device. The app includes advertising, and feedback is sent only when you choose to submit it. See the full privacy policy for details.

How do I answer a question?

A capital appears with two country choices. Choose the country you think is correct, then swipe toward it before the three-second countdown ends.

How does a round work?

Each round has 20 questions. At the end, review your accuracy, correct and incorrect answers, and best streak, then play again or return home.

Where can I review statistics or change feedback settings?

Open Statistics to review sessions, accuracy, streaks, recent activity, and country performance. In Settings, you can adjust sound effects, voice feedback, haptics, and language.

How do I send feedback?

Open Settings → About → Send Feedback to report a problem or share a suggestion. An email address and image attachment are optional.

Getting started

Choose Quick Start or select a K-POP era from the home screen. Listen to the short cue, then choose the song you remember from the available answers.

Listening to a music cue

CUE uses 0.7–2.5 second previews. Make sure your device volume is audible, an internet connection is available, and the app is allowed to play audio.

If a preview does not play

Try the cue again after checking your connection and audio. Some previews may differ or be unavailable because Apple Music catalog availability varies by region. You can continue with another question or round.

Continue in Apple Music

After a question, Apple Music may be available for the full song. This opens the official Apple Music link; CUE itself does not provide or store the full track.

Results and another round

The result screen shows your score, accuracy, and best streak. Choose Play Again for another round or return to Home to select a different era.

Settings and Send Feedback

Open Settings for app options. To report a problem or share a suggestion, open Settings > About and choose Send Feedback. Information is sent only when you choose to submit it.

Advertising

CUE includes advertising. For details about related data handling, read the full privacy policy.

What is the difference between Fate Mode and Quick Mode?

Choose either mode to start the destination roulette. Fate Mode moves from region to destination, while Quick Mode lets you choose a condition and go straight to the city roulette.

How do I use the different roulettes?

Use the destination, food, activity, stay, or dessert roulette when that choice comes up. They are independent options, not steps you have to follow in a set order.

What can I do with a result?

You can view and share a result. For a destination result, you can also continue to an external map app if you want.

How do I report a problem or share an idea?

Choose Send Feedback under App Info to report a problem or send a suggestion. An email address and image are optional. See the Privacy Policy for details.

How do I add, remove, or arrange cities?

Open Manage Cities to choose which cities appear and arrange them in your timeline.

How do I explore another time or understand daylight?

Drag through time to inspect another moment across your selected cities. The daylight curve and city details can be adjusted in Timeline Settings.

What does TimeTape Pro include, and can I restore a purchase?

TimeTape Pro is an optional one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited cities. There is no subscription. You can restore a purchase in the app.

Where can I find privacy and support information?

What usage and reset information does C-Gauge show?

C-Gauge can show remaining usage for the 5-hour and weekly limits, their reset times, and when the information was last updated. The display reflects the supported local usage snapshot available to the app.

How do I connect or switch Codex sources?

Open Settings and use Sources to connect or select Standard Codex or Xcode Codex. C-Gauge reads supported local usage snapshots from the source you choose.

How do Menu Bar Limit, Popover Limits, and Demo Mode work?

In Settings, Menu Bar Limit selects the limit shown in the menu bar. Popover Limits controls whether the popover shows all available limits or only the selected one. Demo Mode uses sample data to explore the interface; it does not change your actual usage.

How do I send feedback, and what can it include?

Choose Send Feedback in the app to submit a report or suggestion. It may include your message, an optional email address or attachment, and app or device diagnostic context. See the Privacy Policy for details.

How do I create a symbolic link?

In Finder, select a local file or folder. Hold ⌘ + ⇧ while dragging it to SymbolicDrop’s floating target, then drop it. A symbolic link is created in your selected destination folder.

How do I choose or change the destination folder?

Choose the destination folder in Settings. New symbolic links are created there; the original item stays where it is.

Why does macOS ask for file or folder access?

macOS may ask for access when SymbolicDrop needs it to complete the file or folder operation you chose.

What do the menu bar and launch-at-login options do?

The menu bar provides SymbolicDrop controls. In Settings, you can choose whether SymbolicDrop launches when you log in.
