TimeTape stores some preferences and your selected timeline cities on your device. The app also retrieves city catalogue updates and uses Apple’s purchase system for optional Pro purchases.
Preferences and your cities
Display preferences and the cities saved to your timeline are stored on your device.
City catalogue updates
TimeTape periodically checks for city catalogue updates and may download updated city information.
TimeTape Pro purchases
Optional Pro purchases are processed through Apple’s StoreKit. Apple manages the purchase transaction under its own terms and privacy practices.
App Store privacy information
The App Store privacy summary currently reports “Data Not Collected.” This is the developer-provided disclosure shown by Apple. The city catalogue update requests described above are also part of how the app works.
